One world,
many forms of work.

Parallax is a long-form effort to build practical tools, research programs, games, stories, archives, and humane systems without flattening them into a single claim.

The public doorway

What Enter the Field is.

It is a navigable record of the work: what exists, what remains exploratory, what evidence is available, and how the pieces relate.

Portal

Enter the Field

The visitor-facing world portal. It organizes projects into regions, Project Genome rooms, visual artifacts, music lanes, and public-safe receipts.

Institute

Parallax Institute

The broad public-benefit frame connecting humane infrastructure, education, stewardship, collaborative systems, creative practice, and long-horizon research.

Laboratory

Phi369 Labs

The bounded experimental space for mathematics, computation, physical systems, consciousness research, and hypotheses that require especially careful claim discipline.

Stewardship

Michael Hughes

Michael is the originating human designer and steward of the Parallax constellation. The work draws on field technology, software building, music, games, systems design, practical resilience, and a commitment to leaving people better than they were found.

Computational Collaborators help organize, challenge, test, document, and build alongside him. Their contributions do not erase human responsibility or convert collaboration into independent authority.
